Key Selling Features

Accuracy icon

Accurate Down to the Detail

Zoom into the finest details of your slab photo and position parts with precision. Real-time collision detection shows you exactly where every part stands — green means it's ready to cut. Export DXF files that preserve original CAD colors, layers, and text for your CNC saw or waterjet. What you see in Mapper is what you get at the saw.

Easy to use icon

Easy to Learn, Fast to Master

Most users create their first complete layout within an hour of installing Mapper. The interface is built for fabricators, not software engineers. Import your DXF drawings, load a slab photo from any camera (including your phone), and start placing parts. Color-coded feedback means you always know the state of your layout at a glance.

Time saving icon

10-Minute Layouts

With batch DXF import, auto-crop contour detection, snap-to-edge alignment, and Common Line Cut, most layouts are complete in under 10 minutes. Generate PDF reports with one click. Print QR-coded labels for the shop floor. Export DXFs and send to the saw. The entire workflow — from CAD file to cut file — happens inside one application.

Affordable icon

Built for Every Budget

No proprietary cameras. No scanning hardware. No $30,000 deposits. Mapper runs on any modern Windows PC and works with photos from any camera. Start with a monthly subscription at $99 or save long-term with a one-time perpetual license at $2,500 — either way, it's a fraction of the cost of a single wasted slab on a large job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new user gets a full 30-day free trial with access to every feature — no credit card required, no limitations. Download Mapper, click "Start 30-Day Free Trial," and you're ready to go.

What hardware do I need?

Any Windows 10 or later PC (64-bit) with at least 4 GB of RAM. For slab photos, any camera works — including your cell phone. No proprietary scanners, no special equipment.

Can I import my existing CAD drawings?

Absolutely. Mapper imports standard DXF files — individually or in batch. All entities, layers, colors, and text are preserved. When you export back to DXF for your CNC saw, everything carries through exactly as it came in.

How does Mapper compare to more expensive slab layout software?

Mapper delivers the core features that fabricators use every day — DXF import/export, slab photography with vein matching, collision detection, common line cuts, label printing, and PDF reports — without the $15,000–$50,000 price tag, proprietary hardware requirements, or long-term contracts. Most shops find that Mapper covers 100% of their slab layout needs.

What is included in the perpetual license?

Everything. Every feature, no tiers, no add-ons. Your perpetual license includes one year of maintenance and updates, plus customer support. After the first year, you can optionally renew maintenance to continue receiving updates, or keep using the version you have — the software never stops working. We also offer a monthly subscription at $99/mo if you prefer a lower upfront commitment.

What's the difference between the subscription and perpetual license?

Both include every feature. The monthly subscription ($99/mo) lets you start with a lower commitment and cancel anytime. The perpetual license ($2,500 one-time) is a better value long-term — it pays for itself in about 2 years of subscription payments. You can start with a subscription and upgrade to perpetual at any time.

Does Mapper work with my CNC saw?

Mapper exports industry-standard DXF files, which are compatible with virtually every CNC saw, waterjet, and manual saw programming system on the market. You can customize the export settings — including layers, colors, text fields, and filename templates — to match your specific machine's requirements.

How long does it take to learn Mapper?

Most users create their first complete layout within an hour. The interface is designed for fabricators, not software specialists. We also provide full documentation and customer support to help you get started.
